After over twenty years’ experience in food mechanics, a unique company was born at the service of small artisans

Andrea Conversi, owner of the company, grew up in the food mechanics sector in which he has been working for over 25 years.
The desire to get involved and study simple solutions for small artisans led him to create the first machine for processing cocoa beans, the MI10 a cocoa cracker-winnower produced entirely in Italy that cleans 15kg/h of cocoa beans and peanuts in a single step.
The ability to listen and the desire to discover and bring innovation to the sector with competence, technique and passion led him to believe in and embrace this project: thus the Conversitech company specialized in food mechanics was born from the RL business branch: in addition to the cracker-winnower, it is developing new technologies that can be used by artisans who are starting to transform oil seeds, with the guarantee of rigorously Made in Italy tools.

Andrea’s dream

In 2015 Andrea decides to buy 15 hectares of land in Togo to set up an aromatic cocoa plantation and support the economy of a small village and with the same passion he begins to design bench machines for chocolate production bean to bar, to allow even small artisans to create their own chocolate laboratory, starting directly from the raw material.

Cocoa Passion

The need to work small batches of cocoa from his own plantation pushes Andrea to study a solution capable of synthesizing the first two steps of processing: cracking and winnowing. A single machine, which can also be used for other oil seeds, capable of obtaining a perfectly clean bean ready for grinding.
